Donald Gajadhar (b.1963)

Edward Fox-White opened his picture gallery in 1854, in Mayfair, London. Finally establishing premises in St James, London, he provided etchings, watercolors, and oil paintings by the top artists of the day, such as Gainsborough, Courbet, Whistler, Turner, Tissot (portrait of Edward Fox White by James Jacques Joseph Tissot is on display now in Room 24 on Floor 2 at the National Portrait Gallery), and others.

Art and Antique Appraisal and Valuation Services were also available at his gallery.

His sons, Edward Silva White and Edward Fox White followed in their father's footsteps and ran fine art dealers "E & E Silva White" first in London then at 104 George Street in Edinburgh.

Another son Arthur Silva White (1859–1932) was a 19th/20th-century British administrator, geographer, and travel author. He was a founder of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society in December 1884.
